John Guest Push Fittings

Push-fit fittings are the easiest, most forgiving way to plumb a water system in a vehicle. No crimping tool, no hot works, no sealing agents on the push-fit end — cut the pipe square, push it home until it stops, and it's done. Pull it apart later when you need to get a cabinet out.

Brass or plastic?

The plastic fittings are the most cost-effective and are the right call for plastic-to-plastic joins. Use the brass connectors wherever the opposing end is also brass or metal — you can then run a liquid thread sealant on the thread and be confident of a watertight joint.

• 12mm tee connector — split one line into two
• 12mm elbow — turn a run 90° without kinking the pipe
• 12mm straight joiner — join two lengths
• 12mm shut-off valve — isolate part of the system
• 12mm bulkhead / water tank fitting
• 12mm to 1/2" female BSP and brass 12mm to 1/2" male BSP
• Brass 1/2" male adapter with 12mm elbow
• 12mm to 12.5mm barb — get onto hose and clamp
• Watermark straight and bent tap connectors

Pipe to suit

12mm tubing by the metre, or blue and red on 10m, 20m and 30m rolls. Blue is UV resistant; red is not, so keep red to internal runs.
