The family Troopy, finally solved. Designed from the ground up to work with your rear seats in, on the same bed footprint as Roam 2.0. In Sealed Birch, Birch Black Hex or Birch Core White Melamine, with Walnut available as a special order.

FAQ

Which kit should I get?
Wander is the smart entry kit: our proven modular layout in quality eucalyptus ply, at a price that gets you on the road sooner. Roam 2.0 is the signature build: premium birch ply, bamboo benchtops and flooring as standard, pre-planned electrical and plumbing cutouts, T-nut floor mounting and the Easy Slide bed system. Planning a serious touring rig with electrical, plumbing or future upgrades? Go Roam 2.0, it'll save you hours down the track. First build or weekend tourer on a budget? Wander still punches above its weight. Keeping your rear seats? That's the 5-Seater. Roof conversion and chasing the showpiece interior? That's the Premium. Still not sure? Call us and we'll talk it through.
Shipping times
Kits are cut to order in Brooklyn and dispatched in 1 to 2 weeks. Freight to your depot comes on top of that. Working to a date? Tell us when you order and we'll confirm it with you.
Can I have my kit before Christmas?
Yes, if you order by Friday 27 November. If your nearest depot is in QLD, WA, the NT or a regional town, order by Friday 20 November, because the crate needs an extra week on the road. Order after that and we'll still cut your kit, it just won't reach you before the break. A $500 deposit starts your build, with the balance and freight invoiced before dispatch.
How much does kit shipping cost?
Flat $350 to any capital city depot, added at checkout. Your kit travels in a securely packaged crate to your nearest freight depot and we call you when it lands. Regional and rural depots cost us more to reach, so a freight surcharge can apply on those addresses. If yours is one of them we call you with the exact figure before your kit is cut. You can pay it, pick a depot that suits you better, or cancel for a full refund.
How do I pick up my kit?
Your kit is delivered to your nearest depot in a securely packaged MDF box. When it's ready, your local depot will contact you with the pickup address. A trailer or ute is recommended. The depot can assist loading with their forklift. Picking up in your Troopy? You can unpack the kit contents straight into it.
What warranty do I get?
Everything we make carries a 12-month warranty against defects in materials and workmanship, on top of your rights under the Australian Consumer Law. Products we resell, like fridges, carry their maker's own warranty and we help you claim on it. Full details are on our warranty page. Read our full warranty
Why does the upright fridge sit further back than other kits?
You're travelling on rough corrugated roads. You get to your lunch spot and your 1kg tub of hummus has cracked. Fridge is a mess. You'll be forever thankful you can open your fridge door the ENTIRE way: pull the shelves out to clean them, adjust their height, fit larger tupperware. It's the most common question we get, and after every customer's first trip they're glad we did it. Your fridge is the key part of your fitout. Why compromise?
Is there enough room to sleep 2 people?
Yes, as long as you are on good terms with your significant other.
Can I pay by bank transfer?
Yes, on kits over $3,000. Rather than checking out with a card, you can confirm the build directly with Karim: a quick call to check the variant, finish and delivery are right, then bank details and an invoice by email. We send an owner's pack with every kit confirmed this way. Use the bank transfer link under the buy button, or call 0417 362 209.
Can I pay a deposit?
Yes. Choose Pay a $500 deposit under the price and your deposit starts your build. We call you to confirm your vehicle, options and delivery, then your kit goes on the cut list. We invoice the balance and freight before dispatch, by bank transfer or card. Once your build has started, the deposit can't be refunded. This doesn't affect your rights under Australian Consumer Law.
